Goodman International Ltd is a leading Pharmaceutical Company based in Kampala – Uganda, dealing in the Importation and Distribution of Human and Veterinary Medicines, surgical and Nutrition products. The company is an Agent & Local Technical Representative (LTR) for Several Manufacturers from Europe and the Middle East.
Job Description
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Ensure that debt collection is done accordingly and accurate records are maintained.
Confirm and reconcile customers’ accounts, ensure accurate records are maintained and communicate the position/status of accounts monthly.

Maintain day to day internal controls for the finance systems.
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
Any other duties as may be assigned to you by your Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
The Applicants should be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Business Administration or any other related course from a recognized Institution.
Three to four years of working experience in a similar role and busy work environment
Familiarity with SAP Business one is an added advantage
He/she Must have a professional qualification –CPA (Level.1-3)
Experience with computerized ledger systems
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment and independently.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
The applicants must be residents of Mbarara or from surrounding areas.
