Job Description
We’re looking for Audit Managers with expertise to join our Assurance audit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading audit team whilst being instrumental in the growth of our business. Our technical teams support our clients and teams on complex financial reporting and audit matters as subject matter specialists. The selected candidates will have a great opportunity to work with a pool of highly qualified and experienced professionals, team players and committed people managers, with a passion for implementing new approaches and seeing them through from idea generation, testing, to actualisation. whilst being instrumental in the growth of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain business relationships with clients.
Identify and pursue business opportunities with the goal of developing the business and growing the client base.
Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients including articulating the EY value proposition.
Manage Assurance engagements which entails guiding teams in planning, executing and concluding engagements in accordance with the EY Global Methodologies.
Execute complex assurance procedures, anticipate, and identify risks and escalate issues to clients and senior team members, as appropriate.
Actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships.
Ensure that work delivered is of high quality.
Create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel team members and support them in their personal and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical, and able to work under pressure.

High level of integrity
To qualify for the role, you must have;
Significant experience leading, planning, executing and concluding audits.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Collaborative approach to management.
Thorough knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards.
Knowledge of quality and risk management.
Understanding of laws and regulations relevant to audit and other assurance services.
Experience in business development including proposal preparation and presentation.
First Class or Second Class - Upper bachelor’s degree in: Accounting, Finance, any other Business-related field, Statistics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), Law or Computer Science.
Full professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or other recognised qualification).
At least 3 years of experience in a similar or related role.
