Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash management, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Management:
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash management, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.
Process financial transactions, including payments, reimbursements, and receipts, in accordance with CSBAG’s financial policies and procedures.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with program managers and senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and donor commitments.
Monitor budgetary performance against approved budgets and provide timely analysis and recommendations to management on variances, budget utilization, and financial risks.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal management purposes, as well as for donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.
Assist in the preparation of donor financial reports, including budget narratives, expenditure analysis, and supporting documentation, to ensure accuracy and compliance with donor regulations.
Compliance and Audit Support:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures, including taxation, statutory deductions, and audit requirements.
Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing audit recommendations.
Capacity Building and Training:
Provide financial management training and support to program staff, partners, and grantees to strengthen their financial literacy and compliance with CSBAG’s financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is desirable.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Proficiency in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
