Duties and Responsibilities:
Enforcing law and order.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be a Ugandan citizen with a valid National ID.
No criminal record.
Physically and medically fit for duty.
Ready to undertake Police Basic Training.
Prepared to work long hours, even under challenging conditions.
Willing to serve anywhere in Uganda.
Possess good communication skills.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Education Requirements:
A UCE certificate or its equivalent obtained no earlier than 2020.
At least four (4) credits, including either English or Mathematics, and at least a pass in another subject (traditional grading system).
For those graded under the Competency-Based System, at least four (4) “C’s”, including either English or Mathematics, and at least a ‘D’ grade in another subject.
How to Apply:
Interested candidates must submit handwritten applications addressed to the Inspector General of Police. Include photocopies of academic documents, a photocopy of your National ID, three passport-sized photographs, and recommendation letters from LCI, LCIII, and RDC (from your district of residence).
Deliver your applications to the Police District/Divisional Headquarters by Friday, 21st March 2025.
