About the Judicial Service Commission (JSC)

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is an independent constitutional body established under Article 146 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995. Its primary mandate is to ensure an efficient, effective, and accountable judicial system in Uganda by overseeing the recruitment, discipline, and welfare of judicial officers.

How to Apply for Judicial Service Commission Jobs – Deadline: 6th June 2025

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandan citizens to fill various vacancies in the Judiciary.


📌 Application Instructions:


  • Type directly into the form (handwritten forms will not be accepted).

  • Submit completed applications by email only as a single PDF document with the following:

  • National ID

  • Passport-size photo

  • Updated CV

    Certified academic certificates & transcripts

  • UCE and UACE must be certified by UNEB

  • Two (2) professional and two (2) character referee letters

  • Certificate of Enrolment (Magistrate Grade One only)

  • Certified Declaration of Income, Assets & Liabilities (IGG)

  • Letters of appointment/confirmation/promotion (if applicable)

  • Any other relevant supporting documents

  • Self-Assessment Declaration for Magistrate Grade One(Template available on the JSC website)
