Job Description
Reconciliation: Conducting regular reconciliations of relevant general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness as well as Expense Management: Raising expense and purchase requisitions for invoices and internal payments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Handle and process loan disbursements via the applicable payment channels.
Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: This involves processing payments and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently
Reconciliation: Conducting regular reconciliations of relevant general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Expense Management: Raising expense and purchase requisitions for invoices and internal payments.
Accountability review for internal expenses
Support internal and external Audits
Providing Administrative Support: Performing general administrative tasks such as filing documents and responding to emails related to accounting matters.
Adhering to Financial Policies and Procedures: Ensuring compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Should have a Bachelor’s Degree qualification from a recognized University in Bachelor of Commerce, BSC Accounting and Finance and any other related Finance and Accounting course.
Enrollment for CPA/ACCA will be an added advantage.
Should have a good track record of integrity; be analytical, well organized and knowledgeable in Finance and Accounting.
Should have proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages and other Accounting related packages.
Should be a team player, self-starter with the ability to work with others.
Should be a Female, creative in solution finding and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
