Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services for People with Disability in Uganda (CoRSU) is a specialized rehabilitation hospital established in 2009 as a local NGO with the major objective of providing high quality rehabilitation and surgical services to people with disabilities in Uganda. Over the period of 15 years, CoRSU has changed the lives of over 60,000 children through surgical services and rehabilitated over 100,000 patients through a variety of services and disciplines.
Job Description
To work within the finance team supporting accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and processes, and internal/external reporting requirements. To ensure provision of a high-quality financial accounting service that supports effective and efficient management of the hospital's financial resources, within statutory and regulatory guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
General Ledger well managed with accurate ledgers
Cash Receipts posted and daily cash collection report reconciled.
Errors due to wrong postings identified and corrected.
Accurate accounting records maintained for future references.
Audit work properly facilitated.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration/ commerce (Accounting option)
Professional qualification (Level 2 ACCA/CPA) Knowledge of the Standards for the Accounting Professional Practice
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Revenue management in a busy setting.
Member of the professional accounting body CPAU or ACCA
