Job Description
To provide financial statements and other reports that present truthfully and fairly the financial affairs of the Bank and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and international financial reporting standards and ensuring that financial operations are timely, accurate and properly supported with documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of periodical financial statements and the notes to the financial statement in accordance with IFRS and ensuring they are submitted within the set timelines.
Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with FIA and budget variance analysis report within the set timelines to facilitate management decisions.
Maintenance of the Chart of accounts, and ensuring integrity of transactions that are posted into the system to ensure they are accurate and in accordance with the Bank’s policy guidelines.
Coordinate the statutory audit process (interim and final) and ensure the audit is completed and the accounts are published in accordance with BOU guidelines: and following up on resolution of audit issues.
Provide information necessary for the preparation of the preparation of the annual budget in liaison with the respective departments.
Prepare Corporation tax and deferred tax computation, and ensure returns are filed and payments are done as per the income Tax Act requirements.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors of Business Administration. (Major in finance & Accounting)
Bachelor of Commerce. (Statistics, Economics)
MBA, CPA.ACCA.CFA
SKILLS & COMPETENCES
Knowledge of accounting, operational and financial reporting.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modelling.
Excellent Analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with strong interpersonal /communication skills.
Attention to accuracy and detail.
