Job Description
The role of a Finance Manager is dynamic and integral to the organization's success, requiring a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Budget Management:
Prepare, monitor, and manage the organization’s budget.
Ensure that spending aligns with the budget and identify areas for cost control.
Report on budget performance and address variances.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Coordinate and manage the financial audit process.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage the organization’s cash flow to ensure liquidity.
Forecast future cash flow positions based on projected revenues and expenses.
Implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
Cost Control and Efficiency:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce expenses.
Evaluate financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for projects and investments.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance: Certified Public Accountant or hold CPA, CFA, СРМА.
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in accounting and/or finance:
3 years of which should be at the managerial level with bilateral or international funding or non-profit development agencies
Experience in developing project budgets and financial management systems
