About the Organization:
The Pearl dairy Farmers Community (PDFC) is an initiative by the (PDFL) Pearl Dairy Farms Limited (a leading Dairy manufacturing company based in Mbarara, Uganda) and IFC (International Finance Corporation). Since PDFLs’ inception in 2013, the company has been procuring its raw material, milk, from farmers and cooperatives around the manufacturing facility in Mbarara. Before its operations, the wastage of milk in the region was over 50% of the produce and due to its proximity to the farming community, the company has been instrumental in reducing the wastage of milk.
Job Description
As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing key client relationships within the FMCG sector. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the FMCG market dynamics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the FMCG sector.
Understand clients' needs and objectives to propose solutions that align with their business goals.
Drive sales growth through effective account management and cross-selling initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams (such as marketing, operations, and supply chain) to ensure seamless execution of client strategies.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on account status and sales forecasts.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or relevant role in the FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, trends, and challenges.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Results-driven with a strategic approach to account management.
