Job Description
The Management Accountant will prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to assess the financial health and performance of the organization.
They will assist in day-to-day finance activities and ensure the accuracy of all financial information, provide financial analysis and modelling to support decision-making on issues such as capital investment, potential opportunities and business expansion
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to assess the financial health and performance of the organization.
Cost Analysis and Management: Analysis of costs relative to the organization's services and processes to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Strategic Planning: Contribute towards strategic planning by providing financial data and analysis to support decision-making, such as investment appraisal, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
Performance Management: Assist in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance measurement systems to evaluate the effectiveness of business operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Risk Management: Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
Decision Support: Provide financial analysis and modelling to support decision-making on issues such as capital investment, potential opportunities and business expansion.
Finance Activities: Assist in day-to-day finance activities and ensure the accuracy of all financial information
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA or ACCA progression (completion is a plus)
MBA is a plus, CIMA progression (completion is a plus).
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA or ACCA progression (completion is a plus)
MBA is a plus, CIMA progression (completion is a plus).
